Throughout the course of history, mankind has had to adapt in order to survive cataclysmic events that threatened our very existence.

War, famine, pestilence and death, repeatedly challenging our resilience, spirit and will to endure.

2020 will go down in history as a year that has impacted, challenged and tested the human spirit on an unprecedented global socio-economic scale.

We suddenly find ourselves at war against an invisible enemy, on an unfamiliar battlefield, ambushed without warning. COVID 19 has forever changed the world, as well as the way we lived in it. The ways we live, communicate, socialise, travel, shop, work and think, will never be the same again.

Sadly, all wars have their casualties. We mourn with those who lost loved ones, we sympathise with those who suddenly find themselves without work and feel for everyone who has been impacted in any way.

While the war is far from over and the scope of the losses and damages will felt for years to come, we slowly emerge to take stock of what remains and look towards an uncertain future.
